Personal Thought

I usually never write very personal things or thoughts when it comes to this blog, because I try to keep it as music oriented as possible. That's the reason I started this blog, basically because I just wanted to share the music that I listen to --- nothing more, nothing less. For the record, I'm not part of the "blog-o-sphere" that I have been told about, I'm not competing with any other blog that's out there, I'm just a music fan that likes to listen, write-about, and discuss music. People are invited to read, download, and discuss music, nobody is forced to. I have recently noticed that some blogs out there have been attacked for many numerous reasons, to the point that it has nothing to do with the blog, nothing to do with the music, however, insulting shots at people personally. When did blogging become so righteous, and a allowance to insult people? It just seems like some people take this too seriously, and that's when it isn't fun. I don't want anything to do with that, and if that means I'm out of the "blog-o-sphere", well, that's probably the best place for me, outside of the circle. I will continue to post the music that I enjoy or/am influenced by, hopefully passing it along to another who will enjoy the song as much as I do. I hope that many of you enjoy this blog and check in, leave comments, discuss, on a regular basis, however those who don't...I'm sure there are plenty other good blogs out there for you to enjoy.

Thanks.

TJ

You've hit the nail on the head there. I was really annoyed to read comments posted over at BLK:MKT, where people were slating the author for posting tracks that had previously been posted elsewhere. Where did all the elitism come from, and who the hell do they think they are critising others for what they post, as you put it, if you don't like it your not forced to download or read anything!! Anyway, rant over!!

It just makes absolutely no sense. I mean, come on. Does that mean one track can only be available for 7 days and then never be posted again? Haven't read the comments, but it's just not cricket, is it?

Thanks for the supportive words, it's good to know that there's people that care about "music" instead of "status".

More Italo, more Carl Craig, and most importantly, more dancing, coming soon.
