It's Friday and sunny outside, so I'm going to allow myself to get lazy with this post and let the music do the talking. Here is
Nightlife Unlimited's 1980 disco cut "
Peaches & Prunes" off the album
Just Be Yourself, which was the follow-up to the group's successful self-titled debut a year prior. There's a solid
Ron Hardy edit of the track, which was eventually released on the white label twelve-inch
Muzic Box Classics Volume One, which the first record in a series of Hardy re-edit records put out by his brother
Bill Hardy. Overall, it's a classic track from a solid group that was transitioning out the disco era, and into the more italo sounding era of the eraly 1980's.

Loved this tune and it was HUGE here in Chicago. The Ron Hardy edit of it is a classic, but just wanted to point out one thing: Bill Hardy is actually Ron Hardy's nephew. :-)
Keep up the great work!
Thank you so much for Peaches & Prunes. Such a classic!
