More Stache...More Cabana Disco

Here's another Pat Les Stache re-edit, this time Black Ivory's 1974 soul-funk single "What Goes Around (Comes Around)". This re-edit is most likely going to be another addition to the Pat Les Stache Presents: Cabana Music Vol.01 12-inch that should be released later this spring. The original track was arranged by Salsoul Orchestra's Vincent Montana, Jr. and was later included on the excellent philly soul compilation, Crème De La Crème Two. Black Ivory is probably most known for their classic disco club hit "Mainline", however this early, "pre-disco era" single shows a transformation in the group, when they went from the more soul driven songs into the more danceable disco cuts.

Let me know what you think.

I'm still looking for something in France. Could you possibly put something together or even just house me and my girlfriend for a day or two?
