Meet me at the Warehouse
I just watched a really great 15-minute documentary on the beginnings of House music. From Chicago to Detroit to Manchester. It features interviews of Marshall Jefferson, Theo Parrish, Hacienda DJ's Graeme Park & Mike Pickering, Tony Wilson, Mudd Club DJ Mark Moore, and numerous others. It talks about how a genre of music, House, influenced another region (Manchester, UK) more than the area that it came from (Chicago, Il).
