Between 2004 and 2005 Serge Santiago released the Colour Series, which included the Red, Pink, Green, Blue, Purple, Orange, and Gold 12-inches. Each record consists of a solid color sleeve that matches the title of the release (Genuis!). Musically, the songs from this series consists of orginals and italo re-edits. Two of my favorite songs from this collection of disco house cuts would be "Running Passions" off of the Blue EP and "Bad Passions" off of the Gold EP. "Running Passions" is a Serge orginal, while "Bad Passions" is a re-edit of an obscure Steel Mind's italo track. Both songs have that italo-disco-house sound that we all love so much. I reccommend picking up any and all of the 12-inches in the Colour Series, especially if you like these two cuts.
