When I was in California a couple weeks back, I found a used copy of John Davis & The Monster Orchestra's 1979 album The Monster Strikes Again. This was recorded I'd been looking to find for quite sometime. The record contains some of my favorite John Davis cuts including "Love Magic", "Baby I'Ve Got It", and his version of Ashford & Simpsons' "Bourgie', Bourgie'". Overall, it was a nice find and a solid addition to my ever-growing collection of John Davis produced records.John Davis & The Monster Orchestra - Love Magic
