It's safe to say that Cymande's 1972 funky cut "Bra" is an instant classic. For the longest time, "Bra" was the only song that I had enjoyed from the London-based group. However more recently, I snatched up a used copy of the group's 1974 album Promised Heights and really found myself enjoying what I heard. The funky album includes some solid soulful and funky tracks including "Pon De Dungle", "Equatorial Forest", "Shesnamani", and today's featured song "Brothers On The Slide".
