Original Disco Motion

Today, I'm going to feature one of my favorite albums of all-time from one of my favorite groups of all-time in Faze Action. This group has received alot of attention lately for the re-release of their '96 disco gem "In The Trees" by Juno. However shortly following that release in 1997, this UK duo released a classic jazz influenced disco album in Plans & Designs off the legendary Nuphonic label. This album included many early classic disco-house songs before we were calling it "disco house" or "Nu Disco". Some of the classic cuts off this record, including "Original Disco Motion", "Turn The Point", and "Astral Projection", remind me of Lindstrom's Another side of Lindstrom LP. If your into the more jazzy-downtempo side of disco these tracks are perfect for you. Great driving disco music.

I have to agree with you on how good this album is. As much as I enjoyed Faze Action's 3rd album, it's amazing how much they changed from the second album to the last.

This is a great album. Nuphonic at the height of their dopeness. In & Out is a crazy delay mad treat. Never gets too far from the crate.
