After the Club Cabana release, I decided to start work on my next project, a new disco re-edit series, Cabana Music. Obviously staying with the same cabana theme, however under the aliase Pat Les Stache, I look to release Cabana Music Vol.01 12" which is starting to pan out to three tentative edits including, Gepy & Gepy's 1979 sexy disco classic "African Love Song", Black Ivory's 1974 soul boogie cut "What Goes Around (Comes Around)", as well as John Tropea's 1979 jazz-influenced tropical disco cut "Livin' in the Jungle". Of course these are the tentative tracks, and things can change as I put the finishing touches on this release in the next month or so, however if all goes well, these three edits will make up the first edition of the Cabana Music 12" series.
Here's a preview of Pat Les Stache Presents: Cabana Music Vol.01. I would love to hear all of your thoughts and comments.
