She is D.I.S.C.O.

Last night's STUDIO! was admittedly ridiculous. You can check out photos from the night by going to our photo page. That being said, I'm going to keep today's post short and sweet with Ottawan's 1979 disco classic "D.I.S.C.O.". I really enjoying the overall "tropical disco" feel to the song, and it's definitely one of those tracks that really grows on you over time. I admit that it took me a little time to get into some of the song's vocals, however over the past few weeks I've started to warm up to them and really get into the entire production. This is probably one of those fun summertime anthem classics that works nicely in those "End of The Summer" disco mixes. ENJOY!

Yes,that's an all time favorite of mine! I like their Hands Up (or 'Haut Les Mains' in the original French version) as well (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cS28ZoJRdsw).

Superb song. Was a big hit here in the Netherlands. I last heard it some decades ago, but I can still remember it, word for word.

Thanks and greetings from Amsterdam

Produced by Daniel VAngarde, father of Thomas Baltanger from Daft Punk. I much prefer the stuff he did under the names who's who and starbow to this

Thanks for sharing it. A bit too kitsch for me.
