Boogie, Oogie No More

Back in February of this year, Richard Dorfmeister and Madrid De Los Austrias followed up their solid 2006 12-inch release of Boogie No More with a Boogie No More (Remixes) 12-inch. The highly praised original that's based on Taste of Honey's classic disco hit "Boogie, Oogie, Oogie", get's a reworking from both Reverso 68 and the Dutch break beat trio Kraak & Smaak. On this 12-inch single, I find myself really praising the Reverso 68 mix, which successfully highlights the originals' finest moments while adding that signature Reverso 68 sound that they produced on both last year's Tokyo Disco 12" and this year's Especial 12". Another solid re-working from two of the United Kingdom's finest "disco house" producers.
