Midnite Music

I was up late last night, as usual, and as I was going through my records. I put on Cerrone's 1976 classic LP Love in C Minor because I hadn't listen to the whole album for a while. And when ever I listened to this album I mostly play either the title track "Love in C Minor" or "Black Is Black", and tend to skip over the last track, of the three song LP, "Midnight Lady". Anyways, last night after the first track on the B-side, "Black Is Black", got done playing, the record went into "Midnight Lady", and I immediately re-discovered how great of a song it is. Cerrone has so many great songs that sometimes I almost forget some of his best tracks. So hear is to re-discovering great music.

Love Cerrone. One of my other favorites is "supernature".

For me, "Love in C Minor" is the platinum standard of disco. So epic, grande and totally balls-out over-the-top. Really, one of the most important records of the era in my opinion, epecially because it broke out somewhat mainstream and became a minor chart hit.

Enrique, I completely agree. Essential to the disco era.

Cerrone est reconnu grâce aux États Unis . À l'époque personne le prenait au serieu en France . Grace a un colis de disque envoyer par erreur ( un disquaire des Champs Élysées ) chez vous . Jean Marc rencontra le succès.
